About the Role

As Manager, Grid Services Programs, you are the strategic owner overseeing the delivery of contractual requirements for our VPP and DR programs. You direct the partner network that provides aggregation and technical services, optimizing program performance and compliance. This role bridges partner network, sales channels, and field operations with product roadmap discussions. You manage the "program engine" by guiding the end-to-end journey from initial enrollment to incentive disbursement, while setting vision for program growth and scalability.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

· Enrollment & Workflow Oversight: Lead the full enrollment workflow for residential and commercial participants, ensuring program requirements are met. Oversee account management for partners and resolve registration contentions.

· Administration & Incentive Management: Manage rebate, incentive, and reward payment processing, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements and reconciliation between program authorities and internal commitments.

· Sales Channel Enablement: Direct the development and delivery of training and playbooks for installers and distribution partners. Provide transparency on revenue expectations and actively track prospect pipeline for grid service opportunities.

· Vendor & Partner Management: Cultivate and expand relationships with vendors and strategic partners. Oversee contract management, performance standards, and continuous improvement.

· Performance Tracking & Risk Management: Maintain KPI dashboards and operational risk assessments. Drive data-driven improvements and automation initiatives for scalable processes.

· Program Design & Expansion: Recommend strategies for financial self-sufficiency and contribute to program design and expansion planning to meet internal growth targets.


Required Skills and Experience:

· Experience: 5–8+ years of relevant experience in VPP integration, DR program administration, or project management.

· Project Management: Advanced skills in managing complex, multi-phase integration launches and market expansions.

· Commercial Awareness: Strong financial acumen and ability to drive program economics.

· Technical Depth: Working knowledge of BESS dispatch strategies, DERMS protocols, and utility interconnection procedures.

· Communication & Leadership: Ability to translate technical requirements into clear guidance; lead teams and stakeholders across internal and external boundaries.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred

· Installer adoption rates and network expansion

· Accuracy and timeliness of incentive payouts

· Enrollment rate and activation of program fleet

· Operational efficiency, automation, and dispute resolution

· Revenue generation and net margin impacts

· Successful launch and adaptation of programs in new growth areas
